Episode #889

With the NHL playoffs starting this week and our Winnipeg Jets facing tough odds, even the power of music might not be enough for us this year, but we’re still going to try by playing an hour of hockey-themed songs. Following that, our usual roundup of great new music, including a whole bunch of new cover versions, which seems to be a theme this year.

Episode #886

I got my first COVID vaccine this week, and although I feel great about being a little safer for myself and those around me, the side effects knocked me out for a while, so the first hour of the show is brought to you by modern medicine, sicknesses, and feeling better. In hour two another load of great new music and a celebration of a great album released 20 years ago this weekend.

I had originally promised to air part of my interview with Stephanie Lambring on this episode but I, uh, forgot. I blame the side effects. I’ll have to find a way to remember to do it next week. Until then, check out the latest episode of Fly with your Shadow for the rest of that conversation. It’s an especially interesting and important one.
