Yesterday, as I was sitting in the glorious sunshine with my wonderful son, listening to one of my favourite bands of all, for free, I was thinking that it was pretty much a perfect day. One of the songs I heard, in particular, had me thinking about perfect songs, so today’s show starts off with a whole bunch of songs that I’d call pretty much perfect. We also paid tribute to a guy who knew a thing or two about perfect songs, Joe Strummer, on what would have been his birthday. We also announced the next exciting show at Sunset Saloon and heard some peppy, poppy new releases, including a great new East Coast supergroup.
