On Saturday, June 18, our namesake artist, Paul MacLeod passed away at his home in Ontario. Paul was a wonderfully funny and talented individual who brought a lot of light into a lot of lives. Today’s show is an overview of his recording career, from his first CD (called Tell the Band to Go Home) to the latest, including his time with Skydiggers. I’ll continue to share Paul’s music as long as I’m able. I didn’t know him all that well, but I’ll miss Paul a great deal.

Many great things have come to me as a result of hosting this show, but I don’t think that anything could match the latest. Last week I was invited to attend the inaugural Static Roots Festival in Germany, put together by long-time friends and supporters Dietmar and Marion Leibecke, and it was an absolutely incredible experience all around. Much of today’s show is guided by memories of that great event.
