It’s the end of 2012 as we know it, and I feel fine. Our last show of the year is a perfect time to look back at the year that was – highlights and letdowns, and look forward to things to come in the new year. Today’s show is full of all of that, as well as a little New Year celebration (and one leftover Christmas classic.)

Our Old Pal Stu Reid at CKUW’s Twang Trust will forever be known as The King of Christmas (one title I wouldn’t even try to claim from him), because every year he scours the internet and comes up with the coolest, craziest, most out-there songs of the season and puts ’em all together into one lovingly designed package. There have been some dandy packages over the years (including those cool bonus DVD years), and this is another winner.
