Today’s show was pretty much devoted to one of the most amazing non-folk fest gatherings of songwriters this city has ever seen. The so-called “Four Horsemen” tour brings together four of the greatest of all time, and four of our favourites, Guy Clark, Joe Ely, John Hiatt, and Lyle Lovett, and we couldn’t possibly be more excited and couldn’t possibly pass up the opportunity to play some of their best.
Oh, and some new Can-con, cuz we have to and cuz it’s good stuff.

Today we were treated to an in-studio visit by a great singer/songwriter by the name of John Wort Hannam. He came in 3 years ago and blew us away immediately, and this year was no different. With a pile of new songs and a great new album about to be released, this was indeed a pleasure.
And, some great new music, including a fantastic tribute album to one of my favourite all time bands, whom I’ll be in Toronto next weekend to see, Rheostatics.
